Historical facts aren't always so.

In our earlier blog about the Christmas Holiday we had mentioned that the bones of St Nicholas were brought to Italy by Turkish sailors in the middle ages, we had read this in a number of places (One of them being Wikepedia.) But a news story we came across this morning through our decidedly tired eyeballs begs to differ. It seems a Turkish archeologist has called on his government to ask for the return of the bones of St Nicholas as they were stolen in the middle ages by ITALIAN sailors.
